What can I expect from The Empire Strips Back?
After a sell-out tour, The Empire Strips Back arrives for a limited run in Leeds. The classic Star Wars characters are dropped into the world of burlesque. Comedy and striptease, loving detail and hilarious parody… Let us deliver you to the Dark Side.

Is there parking available?
TESTBED has no on-site parking. Visitors are encouraged to use nearby public parking options. There is street parking available along Butterley Street, Hunslet Lane, Cudbear Street, and Sheaf St, as well as several paid car parks within a short walk, including the closest off Sheaf St.
Does the experience take place in an indoor or outdoor venue?
The performance will be held indoors.
At what time are doors opened to the theater?
The doors to the theatre usually open 45 minutes before the performance and the auditorium around 15 minutes before the performance starts.
How long does the experience last?
2 hours total, including a 15-minute intermission at around the 1-hour mark.
Will there be strobe lights?
Yes, strobe effects are used.
Can I take photos or record the experience?
Photos and videos are not allowed during the performance.
Are there chairs available? Can I be seated during the experience/exhibition?
Yes, this is a seated theatrical experience.
Will restrooms be available on site?
Yes, including fully accessible restrooms.
Will food and beverage be available on site for purchase?
Yes, a cashless bar will be available on site with a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Latecomers will be admitted to the venue at a suitable entry point upon arrival; however, please note that seating will be based on availability at the time of entry.

Yes, the venue is step free and has accessible restrooms.
